Wevr are an LA-based studio that create immersive entertainment experiences, probably best known for their creative collaborations with screenwriter and producer Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Lion King, The Mandalorian). Naturally we were very excited to be asked by one of Fast Company’s “World’s Most Innovative Companies” to help them refine their visual identity and company proposal as they continue to expand, whilst keeping storytelling at the heart of their experience.
Wevr have the mission to create transcendent globally shared immersive stories that are inspiring and remarkable. Our work focused on that idea of immersion and the differing virtual worlds of Wevr, creating visuals that conveyed movement and depth. The display font used is a geometric sans serif that takes inspiration from the notion of ‘pixel perfect’ giving it great legibility and sharpness on screen. We also created a unique set of icons built using this pixel perfect approach.
Through the creation of the new company proposal we expanded and evolved Wevr’s visual identity and added depth, colour and shape to their compelling story. Providing a brand new tool box of creative & design techniques that were true to the heart of the brand. Immersive, global & interactive.
