ShopTalk London started with a pub conversation after work. One of hundreds of conversations where we found ourselves talking shop.
Those conversations have taken us on some amazing adventures, from part-owning a pub in Mayfair to the international terminal at SFO, to wearing hard hats planning exciting new start-up projects.

Tick Tock Tea has a wonderful history, as a family run company spanning four generations. With that comes real expertise, real tea obsession and a strong & engaging personality. They wanted a website that really told this story of Tick Tock Tea, and built on their bold & iconic packaging designs, whilst still performing as a smooth, easily navigable e-commerce website. www.ticktocktea.com
Working closely with the Tick Tock Tea team we identified the key challenges to creatively address. These started with the strong tie that the brand has with Rooibos, and how we could tap into that now & for the future, also looking at the health and well-being factor that Rooibos brings. We focussed in on Tick Tock Tea’s unique personality and set of values, before wrapping all this in the need to tread the fine line that the current branding does. That of bringing in historic, retro stylings & cues whilst feeling entirely timeless and therefore in keeping with the digital/mobile platform through which it’s being displayed.

Through bold, playful block colours, time sensitive messaging and subtle animations we’ve looked to create a website experience that is unmistakably alive with the story of Tick Tock Tea. A site that truly portrays Tick Tock Tea’s unique personality and set of values and that mirrors the passion for the brand and for tea that the company & its customers have. Whilst still fulfilling one of its primary roles as an easy to navigate e-commerce website.
