We love talking shop, and believe the best work always starts with just that. Open, honest, enthusiastic and passionate conversations about the thing that interests you the most. If you’d like to kick off a conversation, we’d love to hear from you.
ShopTalk London started with a pub conversation after work. One of hundreds of conversations where we found ourselves talking shop.
Those conversations have taken us on some amazing adventures, from part-owning a pub in Mayfair to the internal terminal at SFO, to wearing hard hats planning exciting new UK start-up projects.
We love the entrepreneurial spirit and surround ourselves with people who have it in abundance. Whether you’re a start-up, a challenger or an industry giant looking to spark a change, we’d love to start a conversation. Let’s talk.
James & Paul
Set up in 2013, Jacobs Chase is a collaboration between James Chase, of the award-winning Chase Distillery, and Dominic Jacobs, former bar director at Sketch. Together they run a range of restaurants, pubs and events across the UK. We’ve worked with them from day one, helping them with everything from branding to design to their digital presence.
ShopTalk have supported Jacobs Chase at a number of their locations, most notably their spots in Mayfair, including The Running Horse Public House and Kitchen, The Whip Cocktail Bar and House Of Crab, a pop-up restaurant. Whilst the umbrella design takes inspiration from British heritage, each location has its own unique look and feel, ranging from the Salcombe seaside to the pioneering English photographer, Eadweard Muybridge.
ShopTalk are consummate professionals; their vision and skill are second to none. Their previous experience and clients ranging from global household names to boutique brands give them excellent insight to what brands require to stand out and how to spread your message with clarity. ShopTalk offer more than just design, they can help you build a brand.Dominic Jacobs, Co-Founder Jacobs Chase
Jacobs Chase bars and restaurants continue to thrive in central London, winning awards – including The Running Horse being voted the 3rd best pub in London. The Jacobs Chase portfolio is also growing and now includes an annual pitch at the halfway point at Henley Regatta.
