Spiralling Luxury

One of the many different perks of our job is being able to work with so many different people, products and companies. One minute we’re re-branding a tech operating system, the next we’re giving a luxury wine cellar company an online presence that matches the high-end products they produce. Spiral Cellars hold over 35 years of expertise, having created more than 3,800 luxury wine cellars in the UK alone and numerous others across the globe.

Their products are all about tailoring, luxury and attention to detail – and so the online experience needed to mirror these exact same qualities. To subtly keep the hero product, the company’s namesake, visually at the forefront we designed the key pages of the site using spiral grids based. Basing these spirals on the Fibonacci sequence, with its relationship to the golden ratio and the latter’s connotations with beauty we ensured that the tailored and luxury elements of the brand were front and centre too.
