Earlier this year we collaborated with our friends across the pond, BCV Architects, on the design and installation of a new look Tomokazu restaurant in the International terminal of San Francisco airport. This is the flagship of Tomokazu’s two locations, with the other in the city of SF. Our brief was to work seamlessly with the new modern interior design of BCV, whilst ensuring the branding clearly brought ‘Japanese cuisine’ to the fore, to stand out, and provide clarity of offering in a busy, crowded and often rushed environment.
The final result, was a clean, modern, bespoke font and logo, as well as a new overarching brand & design direction for them to use throughout interior feature walls, menu design, chopstick holders, take away coffee cups and more.
