ShopTalk London started with a pub conversation after work. One of hundreds of conversations where we found ourselves talking shop.

Those conversations have taken us on some amazing adventures, from part-owning a pub in Mayfair to the internal terminal at SFO, to wearing hard hats planning exciting new UK start-up projects.

The Breakfast Club

When we first met with Breakfast Club, they were looking to update their website with a place for them to add content that demonstrated their company’s personality, and all the great charity work that The Breakfast Club does. View Website

As we got to know the Breakfast Club better, and the team involved, it was clear that there was a very real and genuine empathy, vibrancy, tone, and approach that set them apart as a company. All this was truly reflected in the cafe & bar interiors, and the staff themselves, but not on their current website. This led us all to the decision to redesign and build the whole website to ensure this personality is reflected throughout their online presence as it is in their physical sites, not just confined to one area alone.

Shoptalk were exactly what we were looking for. Creative and innovative, yet extremely efficient and organised. Our website finally feels like home - for the first time ever we are proud to show it off!

Points.

We spent a lot of time and attention on the needs of the customers and the subsequent journeys they will be taking through the website. Approaching it from a consumer and a business visitor point of view, to ensure the new website structure and content would serve all and allow the great work they do to shine through no matter the routes people took through the site. The design of the website was then a really rare opportunity to loosen the shackles a bit, and really have fun with the eclectic and retro stylings of the restaurants’ physical sites themselves.
