Shard laser show London’s horizon will alight with lasers this evening for the inauguration of the Shard. Regardless of whether you think Sauron’s offspring is easy on the eye or just an eyesore, the 309 metre tall tower promises to be quite the spectacle. Lasers will beam across the city, highlighting landmarks like the Gherkin, St Paul’s and London Eye to the sound of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
