Charlotte Linton is a print and fashion designer who began a scarf label in 2009. Each collection takes inspiration from the travels of fictional, zoologist muse ‘Ermandtrude’. The latest collection sees a visit to Greenland, taking roots in the excellent travel diary – drawings and paintings of early 20th century artist Rockwell Kent.
Each piece starts from scanned drawings and paintings, respectfully artworked into designs to be printed digitally onto silk and wool. Charlotte also keeps a superb blog of drawings, I’ve posted a few of my favourites below.
