Introducing Backseat Becky.
This month saw the launch of The Breakfast Club’s latest caf in Oxford. Following our recent website re-design & build for the team (case study here), we were asked if we could help them bring to life the identity for their brand new bar ‘Backseat Becky’s’.
The brief gave us the opportunity to explore the rich history of all things design, from vintage typography and signage, to beer mats and American hotels. The logomark itself was inspired by retro matchstick box artwork, creating a custom signature for Becky, bringing her personality to life. The Becky illustration aims to capture the tiki bar influences and playfulness of the interior design.
The project will be rolled out across signage, menus, website and merchandise.
